In arranging this movement for Organ and Voice(s), I have brought together two versions of Bach’s Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme – the organ chorale BWV 645 and the 4th movement of Canata BWV 140, Zion hört die Wächter singen.
The dynamics are largely Bach’s original which are taken from BWV 140, and the ornamentation and articulation are taken from both BWV 140 and BWV 645.
